Nothing like the feeling of accomplishing a goal. Nothing like the feeling of accomplishing a goal. For me there’s been a lot going on lately and making the time to train hasn’t been easy and often feels impossible. But accomplishing this goal that’s beenon my bucket list for years gives me hope that things are heading in the right direction.

Next goal is to bike all over the globe. Where should I go next? 🇧🇷🇨🇴🇪🇸🇫🇷

Back at it. Acknowledging that you’re know wher Back at it. Acknowledging that you’re know where you used to be or not where you what to be can be humbling 🤷🏾‍♂️🤦🏾‍♂️. What you do about that however is quite often a choice that you have control over. While the answer to get you from “A to B “ may not always be obvious, if you’re willing to dig and willing to put in the work there’s almost always an answer 😉

In honor of #blackhistorymonth and sticking with m In honor of #blackhistorymonth and sticking with my love all things football here’s a little known fact that I wasn’t even aware of until recently.

Growing up in the Florida panhandle not far from Tallahassee, I knew of the football traditions at HBCU Florida A&M. But while I had hear of legendary coach Jake Gaither, I had heard stories but this picture really drove home the point that many of college footballs greatest coaches like Paul “Bear” Bryant of the University of Alabama Woody Hayes from Ohio State we’re mentored and developed by Coach Gaither at his coaching camps during the days of segregation. In fact many of the offensive schemes you find in college football today were originated at HBCU football programs.

#throwbackthursday As a “coach” your job it to #throwbackthursday As a “coach” your job it to help people get somewhere that they may not be able to on their own. But it’s also ok as a coach to have a vision of success for that person even when they can’t see it for themselves.

Having a vision for someone isn’t a bad thing.. stepping back and letting them doing the work but being a part of their journey is really the coal part.

Having a vision for my daughter from way back and watching it start to take form is pretty cool. “I don’t know what or who you’re going to be when you grow up but I know it’s going to be special” I used to say…. So far looks like we’re on track for that
Had to get a little pushy with the iron today 💪 Had to get a little pushy with the iron today 💪🏽

Been a tough couple of weeks working through a nagging injury. Got a good reminder that you can’t overlook the little things that make a big difference. Also set backs happen. If you have to hit pause on a plan for a second it’s not the end of the world. Get through it, learn from it. then get back to work 👍🏾
Real talk….. What would it look like if we put Real talk…..

What would it look like if we put as much effort into preparing for sleep as we put into preparing for the day ahead?

My top 5 encompasses a lot of things that I thing will help me get back to and remain at the top of my game. Competing…I’m always in completion….but mostly with myself. No one has a higher standard or higher exception for me than I do for myself 🤔.

What’s your top 5?
